Hollow Piston Cylinders
Simple and safe, easy to retrofit. Designed to clamp dies on subplates with U-slots. Permits manual handling and placement of clamps. Suitable and economical for new presses or retrofit installations on small to large automotive car body presses. Piston stroke is .472 inches. Single acting spring return, the hollow piston cylinder's spherical washer adjusts to irregular clamping surfaces.

Sliding Clamps
These compact sliding clamps are designed for safe, flexible and rapid clamping of dies or subplates of various sizes that have a standardized clamping height. The single acting sliding clamp is ideal for small to medium size OBIs, gap frame and straight side presses. A hydraulic and a manually operated version (as shown) is available.

Wedge Clamps
Double acting for straight edge tools, useful for injection molding or stamping applications. Wedge clamps are also available for tapered edge tools, double acting. The retracted clamping bolt ensures unrestricted die, mold and forging changes. Available with position monitoring.

Angular Clamps
The angular clamp can be used as either a fixed positioned clamping system for dies that are the same size or a flexible clamping system with manual positioning in the T-slots for dies of different sizes. The shape of the clamping lever permits die clamping in slots or on narrow clamping surfaces. Suitable for retrofit or new press installations, the angular clamp offers safe, flexible and rapid die clamping on small, medium and large sized presses.

Ledge Clamps
Safe, rapid clamping of dies of the same size with standardized clamping surfaces is available with these single-acting ledge clamps. The clamping ledges can be firmly mounted on the press bed and press ram. For dies of different sizes, the clamping ledges can be combined with T-slot adapters.

Pull Clamps
Ideal for clamping tools on the press bed and press slide, pull clamps can be installed in the press bed and press ram, and allows clamping at hard-to-get-to locations. Double acting, the clamp pulls on the T-slot in the die. Also available with position control.

Clamping Nuts
These manually operated, Hilma clamping nuts clamp workpieces and tools in any mounting position. Self locking, these clamping nuts have an integrated planetary gear system which intensifies torque and clamping force.

Swing Clamps
Useful for clamping the upper tool on the press slide, this double-acting clamp has a 90° swing. Clamping and unclamping are position monitored by inductive proximity switches. The swing mechanism is protected by a spring-loaded overload safety device and equipped with manual emergency operation. It provides optimum use of the slide surface, and has large clamping edge tolerances.

Swing Sink Clamps
Swing sink clamps are intended for use as an integrated die clamping system and can be installed in the press bed or in the press ram. Suitable for all types of presses, swing sink clamps offer a uniform distribution of the clamping force when used in a symmetrical arrangement, which can extend the service life of the dies. The clamp head pulls below the surface for die change. Another version of swing sink clamps is made for external die clamping on car-body presses and power presses. Suitable for external mounting on the ram plate or bolster, the swing sink clamp can be adapted to different bed and ram dimensions and to the clamping edge height of the die, since the tie rod is made to suit the application. The dies must have standardized clamping slots corresponding to the clamping positions.
